Using this Athearn RND1062 HO scale box car is easy. Just take it out of the box and place it on your track. It's fully assembled and ready to run. You can couple it with other cars using the body - mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers. When setting up your layout, make sure the track has a minimum radius of 15 inches so the car can run smoothly. For maintenance, you can clean the machined metal wheels with a soft cloth to keep them in good condition. If you have a Prime for Grime model, you can start adding grime and rust to the faded base colors to make it look even more realistic. Just be gentle when handling the car to avoid any damage to the separately applied brake wheel or other delicate parts.
