The Athearn ATHG81311 is an HO scale model train representing the AMD103/P42DC VIA #903. It comes equipped with DCC and SoundTraxx Tsunami for an immersive experience. Using this model train is easy. First, if you're using DC power, just connect it to your DC power source and you can start running it. The engine, horn, and bell sounds will work right away. For DCC operation, connect it to your DCC system. You can access full DCC functions and control features like the ditch lights and marker lights. When running it, make sure your track is clean to ensure smooth movement. As for maintenance, regularly check the wheels for any dirt or debris. You can use a soft brush to clean them.
