The Walthers 933-4550 HO Scale Cornerstone Single-Track Railroad Bridge Concrete Pier kit is a great addition to your model railroad. This kit, part of the Cornerstone HO Scale Engineered Bridge System, includes parts for two single-track concrete bridge piers. It's molded in a concrete base color, simulating poured concrete construction. The kit can be built with or without a cutwater for extra realism. Molded cut lines allow you to easily adjust the height to 4-11/32, 3-15/16, 3-1/2, 2-3/4 and 1-31/32' (13, 11, 9, 7 & 5cm) to fit your bridge. It fits steam, diesel and modern eras and can be used with Cornerstone single-track railroad bridges (sold separately). The common prototype design is adaptable to other bridges. Using this product is easy. First, decide whether you want to build the piers with or without the cutwater ends for added realism. Then, look at the molded cut lines on the piers. When installing, keep in mind that if you're using the wider Single Track Truss Bridge (933 - 3185), you should use the Double - Track Railroad Bridge Concrete Pier 2 - Pack (933 - 4552) instead. To maintain your piers, keep them in a dry place away from direct sunlight and sharp objects. This will help preserve the concrete - colored mold and keep them looking great for a long time.
