This HO scale Atlas 20006847 Trinity 3230 covered hopper is a model of LaFarge North America LAFX #60164 in gray and black. Note that the picture might show a different road number. The Trinity 3230 Pressure Differential covered hopper is a smaller version of TrinityRail's 5660 PD, developed from the base design by Thrall Car in the late 1990s. Its smaller size allows it to be loaded with heavier materials like cement and different grades of fly ash. Most are operated by Railcar (Leasing) companies or Shippers.
