The Circuitron AR-2 is an advanced automatic polarity reverser designed for point-to-point layouts in any scale. It offers a 5-amp reversing capacity and comes with an adjustable time delay circuit. You can set the train to stop at each reversing point for a specific period, ranging from 0 to over 1 minute. There's also a terminal for external activation of the time delay without reversing the direction. Connect it to a panel pushbutton or CIRCUITRON’s detection circuits to create stops anywhere. When used with a DT-4 Rolling Stock Detector, up to 4 intermediate stopping points can be set between reversing points, perfect for trolley or switching setups. Built on a 3” square printed circuit board, it requires a 12 - 18 volt AC or DC power supply for proper operation.
